Chippy’s is dedicated to gluten free fish & chips.
We can fry our full range of fish in a batter that is Gluten & Wheat Free. Some other shops sell only gluten free fish & chips which can still contain wheat starch. We don’t. Ours is free from both gluten & wheat.
We cook gluten free fish & chips in a dedicated frying pan that has a two stage filter process to filter our oil ensuring fresh clean oil at all times .
Some shops fry your food alongside other products unsuitable for coeliacs, thus increasing the rise of contamination of your food. We don’t! No other products, other than those on our gluten & wheat free menu, will be fried in our dedicated frying pan.
Our gluten free fish & chips are cooked to order at all times. You can place your order by telephone or in our shop.
We only fry in a top quality all vegetable oil “FRYMAX”. All vegetable content, No animal fats, no hydrogenated fats, no additives, low Tran’s fatty acids, and is free from nut products.
Gluten batter mix ingredients:
Rice Flour, Potato Starch, Raising Agents (E341 (I), E500), Salt, Soya Flour, Colours (E100, E160c)
Please keep in mind it will take a minimum of half an hour to prepare a gluten-free order.
